The Medical and Health Librarians Association of the Philippines (MAHLAP) will hold its 27th National Congress and Seminar-Workshop on the theme: "Making Ideas Happen: Understanding Accreditation Standards and Sustaining Excellence" on March 25-27, 2015 in Marco Polo Hotel, Davao City.  The forum will discuss a wealth of topics such as "New Evaluation Tools of PACUCOA, PAASCU and ISO" "How to Prepare an Action Plan;" "How to Present and Critic Output;" "Impact of Out-come Based Education in the library collection" and many more.

 

Our objectives for the 27th Congress are:

• To update librarians with the new evaluation tools used by PAASCU, PACUCOA and ISO;

• To train librarians in preparing basic documents for accreditation; and

• To inform the librarians the impact of Out-come Based Education (OBE) in the library collection.

We have invited our country’s experts to share their knowledge and experiences about preparing documents for accreditation and the impact of OBE.

Registration fee for live-in participants includes accommodation (triple sharing), breakfasts, AM/PM snacks, lunches, dinners, conference kits and certificate of participation/attendance.
